The Journey Behind Succinct Learning
My journey into the world of finance didn’t begin in a classroom — it began in the quiet corners of family conversations, when I was just 14 years old. I would often hear words like “shares,” “stock market,” and “Harshad Mehta” floating around at home. At the time, I didn’t fully grasp their meaning — but something in me was curious, alert, and eager to understand.
A life-changing moment came unexpectedly — during a hospital stay, I overheard news about the Maruti IPO. That spark of curiosity quickly became action. With my father’s encouragement, I made my very first investment: ₹5,000 in the stock market. That small step was powerful — not because it made me rich, but because it introduced me to a world where money could grow through knowledge, not just effort.
Of course, like many beginners, my first experience didn’t go well. The investment was mismanaged. But instead of giving up, I became even more determined to learn. Even though I was still a minor, I convinced my father to open a Demat account in his name — which I operated, fully immersed in learning by doing. Losses came fast and frequently, but so did lessons.
Eventually, I paused my trading journey to focus on academics and completed my engineering degree. I then spent years working with reputed organizations like ISGEC and BHEL — roles that offered stability and security. But deep down, I knew that my true passion still lived in the markets. I wasn’t just chasing a career — I was chasing financial independence.
In 2012, I made a conscious return to the stock market — this time with research, focus, and hunger to do things right. My early strategy centered around penny stocks, and again, I faced failures. But I treated every mistake as feedback. I stopped chasing shortcuts and started studying the legends — people like Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Warren Buffett, and Howard Marks. I slowly built my own trading style — one that balanced ambition with risk, using tools like stop-loss systems, re-entry frameworks, and strong market discipline.
Then came March 2020 — a global crisis, but also a unique window of opportunity. While many were pulling out of the market in fear, I leaned into Buffett’s wisdom: “When it’s raining gold, reach for a bucket, not a thimble.” I used everything I had learned and strategically invested — a decision that transformed my financial life in the two years that followed.
In 2022, I enrolled in the MBA in Financial Markets (NSE Academy) not just to deepen my knowledge, but to validate my years of practical experience. During that program, I realized something alarming — while students were absorbing theories, very few knew how to actually trade or invest. That disconnect became my mission.
In 2023, I founded Succinct Learning Platforms Pvt. Ltd., a learning and mentorship initiative focused on bridging the gap between theory and practice. My goal was simple: make trading understandable, practical, and achievable for everyone — especially young Indians, students, and working professionals who want to take control of their financial future.
Today, I work with individuals across all backgrounds — mentoring them not only on how to trade, but how to think, behave, and grow like a true market participant. I believe wealth is not just about numbers; it’s about mindset, strategy, and continuous learning.
If you’re someone who’s curious about the market but overwhelmed by where to start — you’re exactly who I built this for.
Welcome to Succinct Learning — where your journey to financial independence begins with clarity, support, and smart action.
